ABOUT THE MAKERSPACE

The CoLabJax Makerspace is a non-profit workshop offering entrepreneurs, inventors, engineers, makers, and designers a place to refine their vision, design and prototype their products, and test and validate designs before launching ideas into viable, profitable businesses.

While our specialty is Electrical Engineering, we have basic Machine Shop, Wood Shop, and Chem Lab capabilities. We are going to be doing a lot with Audio/Video and Media Generation very soon. If you’re interested in making anything, Textiles, Food, Music, Money…please contact us.

The Jacksonville Landing

Our main space is located directly in the heart of the city at The Jacksonville Landing. We currently occupy a 4600 sqft retail space where we have our offices, coworking, media room, and a lot of gear. We are growing quickly, and there is room to expand.

The Union 700 Building

We also retained our original space in the Union 700 Building – 5500 sqft of super industrial warehouse space. We can get into some incredible projects here. It is currently home to a ton of chemistry equipment where we will be setting up a lab, and a bunch of woodworking equipment from a project that we’ve been working on. If you need space to work, we got it.
